Elizabeth choy was one determined lady who never gave up. She was a not just a war heroine but also a great contributer to society. She won many medals in evidence to her work. She went through so many harships in her life and once she was even electrocuted while in prison. After that she developed the fear of electrical appliances. One surprising fact is that when given the chance to identify the japanese officer who electrecuted her, she did not mention anyone's name. She said she hated war and not the people who tortured her. I admire her bravery and I think she is one in a million. It is heart breakening that she died about two years ago. She was a great woman. She was the last survivor of World War II in Singapore.
